Boo at the Zoo is the wildest trick-or-treat in town! Princesses, superheroes, kid-wizards, and other costumed guests are invited to have fun at the Zoo from October 23 to 26, 2008. The Zoo has added one extra night this year!
Direct from the Beijing Summer Games, the World Tour of Gymnastics Superstars featuring reigning world champion Shawn Johnson, Olympic Champion Paul Hamm, 9-time world medalist Nastia Liukin plus the Men and Women of Team USA and an exclusive performance from Jordan Pruitt, who was just named #1 on Radio Disney will perform at the Verizon Center on October 30, 2008 at 7:30pm.
Here are some great activities now underway or soon-to-be. We'll change the page along with the seasons. Check back often for new updates. Here you'll find things from local festivals and fairs to the lastest information on consignment sales in your area.

Our area is a mecca for family-friendly live entertainment and museums. If your children can sit still for 45 minutes or so, they are probably ready to see a (short) play or a concert. Here are some recent shows, museums and other attractions around the DC area the OK staff has taken in. Can you recommend something else? Please send us a review!

"I won this membership in the Rock-n-Tots raffle. When I logged on to find that it was a membership to a website, my first thought was, "people pay money to belong to a website, especially a website that just contains information that is open to the public anyway." Well, I have to say that it hasn't even been a week and I check your website more than my own e-mail! I love it! I have told everyone who comes within five feet of me about it. It should win a parents' choice award."
