The Thomas Jefferson Community Center in Arlington, Virginia hosts Family Roller Skating Night from October to April. Every Saturday night from 6:30 to 8:30pm enjoy this family fun in entertainment. Admission is $2/person; skate rental $2/person.

• "Family Skating at Thomas Jefferson Community Center is a blast. There is a DJ (playing songs from back in the day, and current ones as well). It's in a big gym with a track - the track is used by people who can actually skate as they go round and round. For the rest of us, there is plenty of room in the middle - to learn, fall, and skate all over. Our 4 year olds had a blast, with varying levels of success. But by the end of the night, most of them could move around a bit on their own and even more. Tip: bring a water bottle, the kids got so hot and thirsty, and skating back and forth to the water fountain takes a lot of energy! There is a decent snack bar as well." - Susan B.
