  2. How do I become a member of Our Kids?
    Click on the become a member button at the top of this page. There are two options for payment. Pay by credit card or pay by check.

  4. How much does it cost to become a member of Our Kids?
    Membership is only $26 per year.
  5. What areas does the weekly newsletter cover?
    The newsletter and website cover Northern Virginia (Alexandria, Arlington County, City of Falls Church, Fairfax County, Prince William County and Loudoun County), Washington, DC and Maryland (Montgomery County, Prince George's County and some events in Howard & Frederick Counties.)
  6. Can I forward an issue to a friend?
    Yes, you may forward an issue to a friend for them to check out. Please do not forward the newsletter to playgroups, preschools, moms groups and other groups of that nature without prior approval from Our Kids. Memberships are intended for one individual (or family).
  7. Does Our Kids ever cancel memberships?
    Yes. If Our Kids finds that a member is forwarding newsletters on a recurring basis without approval from Our Kids we reserve the right to cancel a membership. An Our Kids membership is intended for the non-commercial use of families. If it is apparent that another online resource is using material presented in the weekly newsletter or online member database without crediting the research provided by Our Kids LLC we reserve the right to cancel a membership.

    If Our Kids cancels a membership we will refund the remaining balance on the member's account.
  8. Do you have a referral program?
    As our way of saying thanks, Our Kids will give you a free one year newsletter membership for referring three new paid members to the Our Kids weekly newsletter. The new member just needs to let us know your name and email. This offer does not apply to group rates.
  9. How long is an Our Kids membership?
    An Our Kids membership runs one year from the date you sign up or renew.
  10. Can I give a gift membership to Our Kids?
    Yes! An Our Kids membership is a great gift idea for holidays, birthdays, new parents and especially Mother's or Father's Day! To give a gift subscription, click Gift Subscription at the top of the site.

  12. I would like to submit an event, how do I do that?
    Click Submit an Event on the top navigation of the website. Submit your information, if approved by the Our Kids editor, your listing will appear in the Our Kids member site. The more information you provide, the more likely your event will be approved. This feature is available only to members.
