The Program: Kids 15 years and under get two free games of bowling every day, all summer long. All you have to do is register on the www.kidsbowlfree.com website at the specific AMF bowling alley closest to you to get started!

For this particular outing, the Our Kids review team consisted of two moms, two 6 year boys and two 4 year old boys. We met at the bowling alley at 10:30am on a Thursday. We were pleasantly surprised how non-crowded it was! We walked right up to the counter and presented our coupons for free games. The friendly, very helpful staffer assisted us with shoe rental payment, sizing and bowling balls for at kids.

The moms opted not to play because we would be busy assisting the kids with their bowling which turned out to be a wise and cost-effective decision. The AMF staffer also got us set up with the automatic score keeping computer. AMF is very kid friendly with small bowling shoe sizes, 6 lb. balls, lane guardrails that can be raised for no gutter balls and special metal ramps that helps the little kids get their balls down the lane. The 4 yr. old boys loved it! The moms were very impressed with how clean and well kept the bowling alley was.

It took 1-˝ hours to bowl two games and the boys were tired out and ready for lunch! We opted to eat at the I-HOP right down the street but the food at the bowling alley smelled and looked pretty good and we’ll probably eat there the next time we go! There is also a good-sized video game room and most games seemed age appropriate for younger kids and families.
