We have been going to see shows at Adventure Theatre for the past five years. Most recently, I took my youngest son (almost 4) to see their interpretation of David Shannon's book, So you want to be a Pirate? The cast was terrific! The quality of the performances is top notch, including the singing and dancing. The cast was so kind to my son after the show. He was mesmerized by the music, set and acting. We will keep going back! It is totally worth it to get their FlexPass.

We just saw Garfield. It was easy to see from any seat. My kids loved the stage and how close they were to the actors. I also loved Glen Echo park before the play. I highly recommend this theatre for children plays.

We just saw Garfield at the Adventure Theater and it was well done. My kids (9 and 7) enjoyed the show. There really are no bad seats. I had never been to Glen Echo Park and despite everything else being closed (it was a Monday morning) it was neat to walk around.

These performances are one of the best aspects of living in this area - each show is just excellent with a stellar cast. While some of the shows have humor that is more geared toward pre-teens, I appreciate that they also have shows geared toward younger audiences.

Glen Echo's Adventure Theater's performances are consistently fun, age-appropriate, and professionally done. My 4-yo daughter and I recently saw Goodnight Moon - she was enthralled throughout. The actors were wonderful, the staging fantastic, and the set was amazing. We have NEVER seen a show there that we didn't love. Two thumbs way up!

Throughout the year, Adventure Theatre has a great variety of high-quality shows for young audiences. The performances are uniformly outstanding and often win awards and recognitions (most notably the Helen Hayes awards). Performances are under one hour in duration and always appropriate for young children. The theatre is intimate and there are no bad seats in the house. - Silvia A.
